You should attend this webinar if you have been approved to immigrate to Canada and have one of the following documents:

  • Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invitation to obtain pre-arrival services
  • Confirmation of Permanent Residence letter/document
  • Passport request letter that indicates permanent resident visa issuance
  • An IRCC request that an applicant for permanent residence complete a medical examination
  • A single entry Permanent Resident Visa
  • A permanent Resident Visa pick up notification letter.

The team supports clients heading to any city, province or territory. While you are still in your home country, you will be mentored on job hunting and how to build your ‘Canadian experience’ faster. Services are delivered online and at your own pace. The team has strong partnerships with construction associations, credential/licensing authorities, employers and free settlement service providers across the country. Alice Calmettes

Program Manager, BCCA-Integrating Newcomers

Alice Calmettes is a bilingual program manager, with years of experience both in Canada and abroad. She has extensive experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and diversity and inclusion. She oversees the delivery of the BCCA Integrating Newcomers program, a pre-arrival service dedicated to helping experienced professionals find their fit in the construction industry in Canada.  Throughout her career, she has consistently prioritized maintaining strong communication with stakeholders, actively participating in collaborative decision-making, and effectively coordinating project teams.

Louise Nichol

Skills Assessor, BCCA-Integrating Newcomers

Louise Nicol is an educator, skills assessor, HR specialist, licensed tradesperson, industry adviser and veteran of Canada’s construction and technical industries. She hold trades designations, a masters degree in Leadership & Training, and have served on several technical sector councils.
